Candidates for Assembly Office Announced

The APA Assembly Nominating Committee revealed its choices for speaker-elect and recorder at the group’s meeting in Washington, D.C., last month.

Competing to be the next speaker-elect are Jenny Boyer, M.D., and David Scasta, M.D. Boyer, of Muskogee, Okla., is the Assembly’s current recorder. Scasta, of Princeton, N.J., is the Assembly Executive Committee’s representative from the Allied Organization Liaison Committee.

Vying for the recorder post are Glenn Martin, M.D., of Forest Hills, N.Y., and Jerome Rogoff, M.D., of Waban, Mass. Martin is the Assembly’s Area 2 representative, and Rogoff is the Area 1 representative.

The election will be held during the Assembly’s May 2013 meeting in San Francisco. ■
