Free Self-Assessment Tool Will Help You Plan Meeting Schedule, Earn Credit

Published Online:https://doi.org/10.1176/appi.pn.2014.2b11

APA has developed an educational activity—the 2014 APA Annual Meeting Self-Assessment in Psychiatry—to help meeting registrants create an individualized schedule of sessions to attend at APA’s annual meeting in New York. The self-assessment is a 100-question examination that tests areas of psychiatric practice covered in the ABPN content outline for the recertification exam. Participants can earn up to 8 hours of AMA/PRA Category 1 credit and fulfill up to 8 hours of a self-assessment component of the maintenance of certification process. Meeting registrants will be auto-enrolled and told how to access the self-assessment by e-mail. For more information, send an e-mail to [email protected]. ■
