APAPAC Assists Candidate

Jo-Ellyn Ryall, M.D., presents Missouri state Rep. Russ Carnahan (D), a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, with a contribution from APA's political action committee, APAPAC. The presentation was made in Missouri. Ryall is the APA Assembly's Area 4 deputy representative and a member of the APAPAC Speakers Club. Carnahan is running for Missouri's 3rd Congressional District seat, which will be vacated by Rep. Richard Gephardt (D). The visit is part of an ongoing APAPAC program in which APA members educate federal legislators and policymakers about mental health issues.
