Published Online:https://doi.org/10.1176/pn.39.20.0390018b

Philip Margolis, M.D. (second from right), and Ken Silk, M.D. (second from left), are photographed after presenting John Schwarz, M.D. (left) with a contribution from APA's political action committee, APAPAC. Schwarz, a Republican, is running for Michigan's 7th Congressional District seat, which is being vacated by Rep. Nick Smith (R). Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz., right), also joined the group as a supporter of Schwarz. The presentation was made in Michigan.

Margolis is an Assembly representative from the Michigan Psychiatric Society, and Silk is the president-elect.

The visit is part of an ongoing program through APAPAC in which APA members educate federal legislators and policymakers about mental health issues.
