Sorel Honored

President Ion Iliesçu of Romania recently awarded Eliot Sorel, M.D., of Washington, D.C., with the Star of Romania Order of Commander in a formal ceremony at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace in Bucharest in recognition of Sorel’s contributions to Romania, Romanian culture, science, and medicine. Sorel is a member of APA’s Council on Global Psychiatry. ▪
