Mentors Sought

Published Online:https://doi.org/10.1176/pn.41.10.0017

The Selection Advisory Committee for APA's minority fellowships is hosting a mentor orientation breakfast for current fellows and medical students at APA's 2006 annual meeting in Toronto on Sunday, May 21, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Kingsway Room on the main level of the Intercontinental Toronto Centre Hotel. The breakfast will provide an informal setting for fellows and medical students to network with mentors.

There are a large number of residents and medical students attending the mentor breakfast again this year. To make this a worthwhile and enjoyable activity, we need your commitment and support.

If you cannot attend the annual meeting or the breakfast but are interested in becoming a mentor, contact Marilyn King of the APA staff at (703) 907-8653 or . Current mentors have commented that the experience is a rewarding and much-needed activity.
