Oldham Named

John Oldham, M.D., has been named chief of staff at the Menninger Clinic in Houston. He will replace Richard Munich, M.D., who retired in June but remains a board director. Oldham assumes his new post in January.

Oldham, who is president of the South Carolina Psychiatric Association, was previously professor and chair of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and a clinical professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Emory University School of Medicine. He was also executive director of the Institute of Psychiatry at MUSC.

At APA Oldham is on the Board of Directors and the Editorial Board of American Psychiatric Publishing inc. and is a past chair of the American Psychiatric Institute for Research and Education and the Council on Quality Care. ▪
