Watch for Survey

Published Online:https://doi.org/10.1176/pn.42.3.0032

The AMA, with the support of APA and more than 60 other medical specialty societies, is now conducting a survey on physician practices. The purpose of the survey is to collect physician- and practice-level data that will be used to better represent physicians' interests with Congress, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and other decision makers that influence health policy.

During 2007, you may be contacted by the Gallup organization to participate in this survey. APA encourages your participation since the data obtained will be a critical source of information on physician practice characteristics and expenses to develop and redefine AMA and APA policy.

The 2007 survey replaces the AMA's Socioeconomic Monitoring System program.▪
