Nevada Psychiatrist Meets With Senate Leader

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) stands with Lesley Dickson, M.D., at a recent Las Vegas forum with physicians to discuss federal legislative concerns on the need for a long-term fix of the Medicare payment formula. Dickson is the deputy legislative representative of the Nevada Psychiatric Association. The visit with Reid is part of an ongoing program at APA— through APAPAC—in which APA members educate federal legislators and policymakers about mental health and physician issues.
