H. Michael Meagher, M.D., has been suspended for five years from APA and the Washington Psychiatric Society. Meagher was found to have violated Section 1, Annotation 1; Section 2, Annotation 1; and Section 8 of the Principles of Medical Ethics With Annotations Especially Applicable to Psychiatry by the ethics committees of the district branch and APA. He was found to have committed a boundary violation with a patient. ▪
