IAPA to Meet

The Indo-American Psychiatric Association (IAPA) will hold its annual scientific session, business meeting, and banquet on Sunday, May 17, in San Francisco in conjunction with APA's 2009 annual meeting. The location is the New Delhi Restaurant at 160 Ellis Street.

The program will begin with a scientific session from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The lecture “The Road Less Traveled: Adventures in Psychiatric Epidemiology” will be presented by the Outstanding Academician Award winner, Mary Ganguly, M.D., M.P.H. The symposium “Roles of Overseas Psychiatrists of Indian Origin and Mental Health in India: A Dialogue” will feature representatives of the IAPA, Indian Psychiatric Society, and other allied Indian psychiatric associations from Canada, Australia, and England.
