Applications Invited

Applications are now being invited for the 2003-04 Elsa Barton Educational Scholarship Fund of the American Psychiatric Association Alliance.

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance for the postsecondary education of a spouse/partner or dependent of an impaired or disabled physician who is unable to provide family income or a physician whose death has left the family in a difficult financial situation. Completed applications must be received no later than March 15, 2004.

APA members are asked to pass on information about the scholarship to those who may need it. In addition, the APA Alliance invites donations to the fund. Checks made out to the “APAA Elsa Barton Scholarship Fund” may be mailed to Angela Poblocki, Executive Director, APAA, P.O. Box 285, North Boston, N.Y. 14110.
