The Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy is holding its annual
meeting from November 16 to 19 in Chicago. The theme is "Translational
Research: Building Bridges Between Science and Clinical Practice."
Among the topics to be addressed are teaching cognitive-behavioral therapy
in psychiatry training programs, therapy with difficult clients, and advances
in cognitive treatment of OCD.
Also on the program are clinical training sessions in dialectical-behavior
therapy and the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy to treat
hypochondriasis.
