that offers accurate, up-to-date information on health issues affecting
Hispanic seniors. The user-friendly site covers a wide range of health topics,
including diseases such as Alzheimer's, and provides tips on maintaining a
healthy lifestyle. The site also offers free publications in Spanish and links
to other health-related, Spanish-language Web sites such as Medicare and
MedlinePlus.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the number of older Hispanic adults in
the United States is expected to increase from 6 percent in 2003 to 11 percent
by 2030. ▪
