Electromagnetic Therapies is presenting this basic-level course designed to
provide general psychiatrists and other health care providers who practice
ECT, or refer patients for ECT, an opportunity to update their knowledge of

This session is presented by APA's Corresponding Committee on
Electroconvulsive Therapy and Other Electromagnetic Therapies.
Also, the Association for Convulsive Therapy is holding two certificate
courses in conjunction with APA's annual meeting. One course is on
electroconvulsive therapy, and the other is on transcranial magnetic
stimulation. Both include lectures, a hands-on practicum, and examination.
