Peles, M.D., Henrik Zakari, M.D. Educational Objective: At the conclusion of this course, the participant should be able to (1) recognize the importance of and the factors interfering with taking an adequate sexual history and should be able to use this practical knowledge in the evaluation and treatment of his or her patients; (2) become familiar with the diagnosis of a variety of sexual disorders including DSM-IV classification; and (3) understand current concepts in the treatment of sexual disorders. In addition, the participants will be acquainted with the impact of medical illness and medication intake on sexual relationships. Course Level: This is a basic course.
