Richardson, M.D. Educational Objective: At the conclusion of this course, the participant should be able to (1) recognize the variety of narcoleptic symptoms; (2) differentiate narcolepsy from other disorders that cause excessive daytime sleepiness; (3) appropriately order diagnostic tests; (4) understand the available treatments; and (5) review several clinical scenarios commonly encountered by psychiatrists.
