APA's Office of Healthcare Systems and Financing has announced that
important updates have been made to the Medicare Part D Web site supported by
APA and its partners at<www.mentalhealthpartd.org>.
The information will help psychiatrists and their patients prepare for the
start of Part D's second year on January 1, 2007.
Open enrollment for Part D ends on December 31. Updates on the Web site
cover key changes to Part D as well as 2007 enrollment information affecting
all beneficiaries, including dual-eligible beneficiaries (those eligible for
both Medicare and Medicaid).

information on the Web site:
You are advised to check the Web site frequently since updates will be
posted as more information becomes available. Also, members who are having
problems with exceptions and appeals are asked to inform APA by sending an
