Steven Mee, M.D., has been suspended for one year from APA and the Orange County Psychiatric Society. Mee was found to have violated Section 1, Section 2, Section 4, and Section 8 of the Principles of Medical Ethics With Annotations Especially Applicable to Psychiatry by the ethics committees of the district branch and APA. He was found to have committed a boundary violation with a patient, furnished dangerous drugs without examination, and failed to maintain adequate and accurate medical records.
