"Before embracing this as the newest causal factor ... the authors are careful to point out in a lengthy discussion the many
caveats in their findings. They recognize that, given the history of [purported links between] ASD and environmental factors
(immunizations, mercury), this type of report is likely to be overinterpreted by professionals and the public alike."
