The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine seeks a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor in the University Tenure Line or Medical Center Line. The successful candidate will utilize multi-disciplinary methodology, such as genetics, brain imaging, epidemiology, and/or behavioral science, to conduct cutting-edge research focused on suicide and/or suicide prevention toward the goal of developing new clinical interventions and cognitive neuroscience models of suicidality. In addition, the candidate will provide expert compassionate clinical care, teach and supervise Stanford trainees in psychiatry, clinical psychology, as well as medical students. Excellent clinical training and related post-training work experience in an academic setting are expected.

Applicants must possess clinical doctoral level training in General Psychiatry, Psychology, or a related clinical field, and be currently licensed or fully eligible for a California medical license or a California license to practice clinical psychology.
