The Hellenic American Psychiatric Association (HAPA) will hold its 16th annual meeting in conjunction with APA’s 2015 annual meeting in Toronto. It will take place on Tuesday, May 19, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The keynote speaker is Aristotle Voineskos, M.D., Ph.D., and his lecture is titled “Advances in Psychiatry: The Use of Neuroimaging in Severe Mental Illness to Identify Disease Biomarkers and Accelerate Therapeutic Innovation.” Voineskos is an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Toronto and the Koerner New Scientist and head of the Kimel Family Translational Imaging-Genetics Laboratory at the university’s Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

A Dutch-treat dinner at a local restaurant will follow the meeting. Those interested in attending the meeting and dinner must register and pay dues—$52 for members and $27 for resident-fellow members. Dues may be paid on HAPA’s website at www.hellenic-psy.org by credit card or PayPal; dues may also be sent by mail to Maria T. Lymberis, M.D., 1500 Montana Avenue, #201, Santa Monica, Calif. 90403. More information and a membership application can also be accessed on HAPA’s website. ■
