A new feature at APA’s Annual Meeting this year brought visualization to meeting sessions in APA’s Learning Lab. APA hosted a visual artist from the organization Sketch Effect to record key points from two Annual Meeting sessions on large posters. Joining sessions on the social determinants of mental health and addressing burnout through improv, the artist worked on the pieces as the sessions took place. (The image to the left was done during the session “You Are Human: Addressing Burnout Through Improv.”) The pieces served as discussion tools for attendees to review, and results were put on display afterward throughout the convention center to give other attendees a glimpse into the key points discussed at both sessions. ■
