Quarterly Report on Racist Incidents at APA

APA’s Board of Trustees approved the creation of an online form for APA members and employees to use for reporting incidents of racism or discrimination that they witnessed or to which they were subjected during an APA event or on APA property. APA is responsible for reporting these events quarterly without identifying information, and the information collected is being used to create educational materials on racism, discrimination, anti-racism, and professionalism.

During the period from January 1 to March 31, there were no reported incidents of racism or discrimination witnessed or experienced by APA members or employees during an APA event or on APA property. However, there was one reported external incident of racism or discrimination that the APA Board of Trustees addressed.
