Do you want to learn how to be an effective advocate with your state legislators and build a local coalition for an issue? Then attend the component workshop “United We Stand: Developing Partnerships for Patient Advocacy.” The workshop is cosponsored by the APA committees on Public Affairs and Government Relations. Presenters will discuss strategies for coalition building, offer perspectives from consumer groups, and provide opportunity for group discussion.
