Published Online:https://doi.org/10.1176/pn.39.7.0081a

Aristide H. Esser, M.D., of New City, N.Y., has been suspended for four years from APA and from the West Hudson Psychiatric Society. He was found to have violated Section 1 of the Principles of Medical Ethics With Annotations Especially Applicable to Psychiatry. Esser provided negligent and incompetent medical services and failed to maintain accurate records. Publication of suspensions is required by APA’s “Procedures for Handling Complaints of Unethical Conduct.” (Subsequently, Esser resigned from APA and from the district branch.) ▪
