`Let's Talk Facts' Available Online

APA's “Let's Talk Facts” series of public-education brochures can now be downloaded free from APA's HealthyMinds.org Web site at<www.healthyminds.org/letstalkfacts.cfm>.

The brochures, which were designed to present facts about mental illness and psychiatry to the general public in a concise, easy-to-understand way, may be downloaded in text-only or Adobe PDF formats. Topics include anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, teen suicide, domestic violence, and common childhood disorders. Other brochures answer questions about what mental illness is and how to choose a psychiatrist.

The brochures are available for purchase by topic in bundles of 50 for $29.95. APA members receive a 10 percent discount.
