Belmaker Elected

Haim Belmaker, M.D., an APA member who lives in Omer, Israel, was elected president of the International College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CINP), a worldwide association of about 1,000 members in 57 countries.

CINP promotes the development of new medications for the treatment of mental and emotional disorders and scientific evaluation of existing treatments. The organization also consults with the World Health Organization in setting goals and standards for such treatments. ▪
