IAPA to Meet

The Indo-American Psychiatric Association (IAPA) will hold its Annual Scientific Session and Business Meeting and Banquet on Sunday, May 20, at Westin San Diego Hotel (formerly the Wyndham Emerald Plaza Hotel). The hotel can be reached by APA shuttle bus Route 1 Red. The scientific program, titled“ Indians and Sexuality: From Ancient Indian Text to Modern Indian Cinema,” will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Diamond 1 Room.

The Academician Award winner, Ashwin Patkar, M.D., will deliver a lecture on “Sexual Addiction: One More Addictive Disorder.”

The business meeting, followed by the banquet, will begin at 7 p.m. in the Crystal Ballroom.
