APA Lifers Plan Educational, Social Events

Several events are planned for the Lifers of APA at this year's annual meeting on Tuesday, May 5. All life members, life fellows, and life distinguished fellows are invited to attend.

The Lifers will hold its annual business meeting/education forum from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the Bridge Room Wilson on the Constitution Level of the Grand Hyatt Washington. The group will elect new officers and hear a presentation by APA President-elect Nada Stotland, M.D.

At noon the Lifers will present the workshop “Should We Have a V Code for Response to Military Operational Stress?” It will be led by Sheila Hafter Gray, M.D.

At the Lifers' reception at 7 p.m., Roger Peele, M.D., will be presented with the Harold E. Berson, M.D., Lifers Award. This event will be held in the Lafayette Park Room on the Independence Level of the Grand Hyatt Washington.
