WPA Seeks Proposals for Programs to Recruit More Medical Students

The World Psychiatric Association (WPA) invites proposals for an international project to assess the factors facilitating and hampering the choice of psychiatry as a career by medical students and to suggest strategies to attract more medical students to the field.

Proposals from individuals, departments, or societies are welcome. They must include a description of the project in 1,200 words or fewer, a list of the participating centers in the project, a timetable, a detailed budget, and a short curriculum vitae of the principal investigators.

The deadline for proposals is June 30. They should be e-mailed to the WPA secretariat at .
