APA's 100% Club Gains Another Member Program

Published Online:https://doi.org/10.1176/pn.44.7.0020

The Psychiatry Residency Training Program for the County of San Mateo (Calif.) Health System is now a member of APA's 100% Club.

That means that each of the 12 residents there is a member of APA.

APA's 100% Club was created to encourage the directors and chairs of psychiatry residency programs to promote APA membership to their residents. Each program in the 100% Club receives a group photo mounted on a wooden plaque and a major psychiatric textbook, and for each year all the residents are APA members, the residents get a subscription to Focus: The Journal of Lifelong Learning.

Said Alan Louie, M.D., the program's training director: “We are grateful to APA for providing to our psychiatry residents outstanding educational materials and resources and opportunities to be involved in organized psychiatry.”

Psychiatry residents and directors of residency programs seeking more information about APA's 100% Club should contact Nancy Delanoche of APA's Division of Education at (703) 907-8635 or .
