Consultative Model

• Psychiatrist sees patients in consultation in his/her office—away from primary care.

Colocated Model

• Psychiatrist sees patients in primary care setting.

Collaborative Model

• Psychiatrist takes responsibility for a caseload of primary care patients and works closely with primary care providers and other primary care-based mental health providers.
