Join APA and Save on Registration Fee

Not an APA member but planning on attending APA’s 2012 annual meeting in Philadelphia? Join before registering for the meeting! APA General Members save $575 off the nonmember advance full registration fee. To apply for membership today, go to www.psych.org/JoinAPA and download the APA general membership application or submit your membership application online. Once your membership is approved, you are eligible to register for the annual meeting at the APA member rate. To be eligible for general membership, you must be a psychiatrist residing in the United States or Canada.

Not ready to join yet? Visit the APA Membership Booth in the Exhibit Hall in the Pennsylvania Convention Center to learn more about the valuable benefits of membership or visit www.psych.org/membership. If you submit a general membership application at the annual meeting, you may be eligible to qualify for a $575 rebate equal to the difference between the nonmember and member registration fees for the meeting. The rebate will be applied toward your 2012 national and local membership dues, and any balance will be applied toward future years’ dues.

To qualify, you must be a psychiatrist residing in the United States or Canada and be eligible for APA general membership status. To apply, submit a general membership application at the annual meeting at one of the membership desks located in the meeting registration area or in the Member Center located in the Exhibit Hall. You will also need to submit proof of completion of an approved ACGME-AOA or RCPS(C) psychiatry residency and valid medical licensure to APA no later than June 30.
