Maybe, Maybe Not
Iread with interest the June 18 article “What's in Your Teeth Doesn't Affect Your Brain.” A five-year follow-up is not long enough to arrive at that conclusion, and I speak from Personal experience. I had numerous silver fillings as a child, and 40 years later I developed neurological symptoms and had a mercury blood level that was in the toxic range. After having my fillings replaced with white ones and undergoing chelation, I got my blood mercury down to an undetectable level, and my neurological symptoms stabilized. It would be interesting to see the results of these studies at 10, 20, 30, and 40 years follow-up.
