Did You Take eFOCUS Survey?

In the past few weeks, APA members should have received APA's eFOCUS survey in their e-mail. This is a clinical survey delivered up to four times a year that contains a case vignette with a survey of treatment options asking clinicians to determine how they would assess and care for a patient. Clinicians can compare and contrast their response with the expert opinion and the approach of other colleagues. There are no wrong answers—all of the options represent valid clinical approaches to a complex case.

As members respond to the questions, a table and pie chart illustrating the proportion of members who chose each option will appear on their screen, allowing them to see instantaneously how their responses compare with those of colleagues around the country.

After members have electronically returned their responses, eFOCUS will follow with another e-mail containing an "expert commentary" on the case by a prominent clinician-researcher who has profound knowledge in the specific clinical area being addressed.
