Conference on Recovery to Be Held in NYC

The conference "Peers in the Workforce: Working Toward Recovery" will be held on Friday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City. The sponsoring organizations are the New York chapters of the American associations of Community Psychiatrists and Psychiatric Administrators and the Public Psychiatry Committee of APA's New York County District Branch.

Among the featured speakers is Jordan Horowitz, program director of the career network of the Center for Urban Community Services in New York. The center's Project for Psychiatric Outreach to the Homeless was one of the winners of APA's 2010 Psychiatric Services Achievement Awards.
