Abstract

Geriatric psychiatrist Allan A. Anderson, M.D., will be representing the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry as a delegate to the AMA House of Delegates—the first time the association has had a seat in the House. A national medical specialty organization is awarded one delegate in the House for every 1,000 AMA members who select that specialty organization.

Anderson is medical director of the Samuel and Alexia Bratton Memory Clinic in Easton, Md. The clinic is run by Integrace (formally Episcopal Ministries to the Aging) and is associated with the Copper Ridge Institute in Sykesville, Md. Anderson also serves as vice president for dementia care practice for all of Integrace. In this role, he oversees the clinical care in four outpatient memory disorder clinics and residential settings in Maryland. ■
